IN SUMMARY.
Anthro New England is dedicated to ensuring that individuals with disabilities and assistive devices are able to enjoy all of our convention events with as much ease as possible. This includes line priority for registration, events, and the elevators. We also have ASL interpretation services available on a first come first serve basis for those who wish to have interpretation at events and panels they plan to attend. ASL services will be present at both the opening and closing ceremonies of the convention.
Below are some FAQ’s about our services and other common questions with our venue and event to help you plan ahead!

ACCESSIBILITY FAQS.
The Westin Boston Seaport District hotel is a very accessible-friendly hotel! All floors, restaurants, meeting spaces, and even the hotel pool are accessible. All rooms are accessible via elevator and the Westin also offers a number of accessible rooms within our room block.
All hotel reservations are handled by the hotel and not the convention. If you’re reserving online, the option to choose an accessible room is towards the end of booking just before payment. Navigate through the booking process until you see the option for room requests and you should see the option to select an accessible room. To confirm your reservation, you may call the hotel directly.
You can do so by calling these numbers:
For Westin Reservations, call the front desk at +1 617-532-4600.
For the Aloft, call the front desk at +1 617-530-1600.
For the Element, call the front desk at +1 617-530-1700.
Reserve a room that would be the next best option for you. Then, call the hotel with your reservation number and they will put you on a cancellation list.

Yes! Attendees needing accessibility accommodations will be given an accessibility tag along with your registration badge, which will let staff know you require accommodations and will be able to get line priority for registration, events, and the elevators.
When registering online, you will be offered an option to denote that you require accessibility accommodations. Select this option, and upon arrival at our event, your badge will denote the requirements.
If you are registering in person, tell a staff member at registration and they will be able to assist you.
Unfortunately, no. ANE nor our hotels offer accessibility devices to attendees.
However, there are multiple companies in the Boston area that offer accessibility equipment rentals, we recommend looking into options that offer delivery to the hotel you will be staying at.
