Our Photography team works hard the entire weekend – so you get to walk away with memories in the form of photos and videos from ANE!
PHOTO ROOM.
The Photo Room is a photo studio where you can have your photo taken. Everyone is welcome to visit the Photo Room! It’s free, you’re not required to have a fursuit or costume, and you don’t need any experience with posing. Our staff will help you get ready for the camera. We’ll have some themed props and you’re welcome to bring your own props as well.
We welcome individuals and groups of up to 12 people. We accept visitors on a first come first served basis. If there’s a line, we may limit the number of photos per person/group to keep the line moving and reduce wait times. If you want more photos, you’re welcome to line up again, or return when it’s less busy.
It’s free to have your photo taken in the Photo Room, but we’d greatly appreciate it if you made a donation to the ANE charities, Wings of the Dawn and Queer Scouts! You can read more about the charities here.

The Photo Room is located in the Faneuil Room on the Mezzanine Level (Floor 2) on the same side of the hotel as the Grand Ballroom and the Starbucks.
- Thursday, 1/18: 7-10PM
- Friday, 1/19: 12-3PM, 3:30-6:30PM, 9PM-12AM (18+ only)
- Saturday, 1/20: 3:30-6:30PM
- Sunday, 1/21: 12-3PM, 3:30-6:30PM
We’ll upload digital copies of the photos to the ANE photo gallery by February 1, 2024. We’ll post any updates on ANE social media.

If you want a physical souvenir to take home, we offer high-quality 4×6 prints of any photos taken in the Photo Room! We offer up to 3 prints per person for free, and we can offer additional prints with a minimum $1 donation to the ANE charities, Wings of the Dawn and Youth on Fire. Please note that prints are subject to availability of materials. We may run out of materials by Sunday, so if you want a print, please try to visit earlier in the weekend!
NEW FOR 2024: FILM PHOTOSHOOT FOR CHARITY!
We’re offering something new this year! If you make a single donation of $1000 or more to the ANE charities, we’ll work with you to plan a private 1 hour photoshoot, shot entirely on 35mm color negative film!

THE FINE PRINT.
- If you are interested in this photoshoot, you must make arrangements by emailing [email protected] or visiting the Photo Room during the con.
- Unfortunately, we can only accept individuals for this photoshoot (no groups).
- We will process your donation in the Photo Room during the con. Unfortunately, we cannot accept donations made elsewhere.
- The photoshoot must be scheduled and completed during the con.
- The negatives will be processed and scanned after the con.
- We’ll mail the negatives to you for you to keep as a physical souvenir. We’ll pay for shipping. You’ll also receive high-resolution digital scans of the negatives.
- The photos will be taken with the following equipment: Nikon F100, 85mm f/1.8, 70–200mm f/2.8, Kodak Professional Portra 400 color negative film.
- Anthro New England Inc. is a 501(c)7 organization, so your donation is not tax-deductible.
